» Community: What We Hear in the Dark - a place for us nerds who just can't get enough crime show roleplaying! Based out of New York City, this community is open to any and all fandoms. This is a good place to work out plot bunnies, or just playing around with some of your favourite characters. You can use your own personal journal with appropriate character icon, or you can create a dedicated character journal for playing around here.

» Posting: There are not many post requirements. All we ask is that at the beginning of every post, you include the following before you start writing: WHO: (what characters are involved) WHERE: (the location where the post begins) WHEN: (can be a specific time or in relation to other posts). We know that people have other things going on in their lives and therefore we have no requirement for how often you should post. If you will be away for an extnded period of time,
we do ask that you let us know with by posting on our Out of Character community, wwhitd_ooc

» Your Character: Try to keep as close to the character as you can. It's understandable to switch things up a bit. But if you're really going to go all out there, and make Mac Taylor the biggest wimp you've ever met, there should be some reasoning behind it, or 'AU' in the post header. Also you can pick minor characters or even make your own up. Be a bad guy. Be an FBI agent. IAB whatever you want as long as you're good at it.

» Join?: PM Frenchy with the character you wish to play plus a sample of your roleplay. We hate to be picky about these things, you don't have to be a Master at it but it'll help if you can string some good words together.

» Roleplay: Anything goes. Slash, violence, gore. Limited death, obviously you don't want to kill your own character. Ratings: G-X. Any extremely long posts or a post with anything over the PG-13 rating should go behind cuts.

» Age: 18+. Since there is slash/porn in here I need to put this up. I'm not saying anyone under 18 is incapable of handling mature situations, but as we are dealing with mature themes, nobody under 18 will have access to this community. Sorry folks, those are the rules.

Starting immediately, all player apps must include an age statement. There will be no exceptions.
